The purpose of mechanical cleaning stage is to extract large garbage (stones, sticks, rags, bags, etc.) from household and industrial wastewater.

Several types of gratings are used for mechanical cleaning. The most common types are: rake grate, hook grate, screw grate, drum sieves, sand separators, as well as other types of cleaning devices.

All types of equipment are highly durable and reliable. Current filter screens are: efficient, but at the same time affordable equipment, provide ease of operation and protection of technological equipment located downstream.

Technical specifications:
Material: stainless steel, cast iron
Power: 0.5 – 7.5 kW
RPM: 750 – 1450 rpm
Screw diameter: 150 – 800 mm

Submersible agitators for sewage treatment plants play an important role in ensuring the efficient operation of a wastewater treatment plant.

Agitators play an important role in achieving uniformity of effluents and have special characteristics. They are an important link in the process chain and support the sustainable operation of the entire system.

Thanks to the convenient and reliable mounting, the agitators are easily installed and fixed in the desired position. The control system allows you to monitor the operation of the agitator and adjust the speed of rotation of the rotor depending on the required cleaning process.

The agitators are made of corrosion-resistant materials: stainless steel, cast iron.

Industrial blowers

Industrial blowers are special–purpose equipment that is used to supply air in large volumes, while the pressure generated is negligible.

Depending on the model, the devices are capable of supplying air in a volume of up to 45,000 m3/hour, at a pressure of up to 1400 mBar. In addition to air injection, industrial rotary blowers are used, if necessary, to create a negative pressure with values up to – 550 mBar.

The air flow is created using a rotary pump of the ROOTS type, which is driven by an electric or diesel engine.

Aeration systems

6

In order to comply with certain conditions for wastewater treatment in aerotanks, aerators are required to saturate wastewater with oxygen.

The advantages of choosing poppet type aerators are:

  • Uniform formation of air bubbles at full load range
  • Possibility of continuous and periodic aeration mode
  • Chemical, corrosion and mechanical resistance
  • Quick and easy installation

Dosing stations

Dosing stations are designed to store and release flocculant into the water, allowing for chemical purification or post-treatment of water

Stations are usually used before aero tanks or at the last stage of wastewater treatment, when additional phosphorus treatment is required.

The flocculant creates flakes, which then linger on the water purification filters. The stations are connected to control cabinets that operate in automatic mode and supply flocculant depending on the result of water sampling.

Centrifuges and decanters

Technical specifications:

Hydraulic capacity: 5 – 120 sq.m./h
Drum diameter: 250- 650 mm
Drum Length: 1 – 2.6m
Length of the whole equipment: 2.2 – 5 m

The decanter (centrifuge for two-phase separation) is used for thickening and dewatering of sediments formed in various stages of wastewater treatment. For mechanical dehydration, the use of decanters with flocculants is recommended.

Special design features of the screw in the decanter create an additional pressing effect in the conical part. The best separation results are achieved due to the maximum residence time of the solid inside the drum.

One of the advantages of decanters is their size. They take up less space than belt filter presses for dewatering fur.

Ultraviolet disinfection is one of the methods of final wastewater treatment before their release into natural reservoirs. This method is very widespread due to its relatively low cost and safety for humans and the natural environment.
